Raquel Lynette Leach

Raquel Lynette Murray Leach was born on January 31, 1971 in Purcell, Oklahoma to Terral Collin and Linda Sue (Turner) Murray. She passed from this life suddenly on March 17, 2023 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 52 years.

Raquel was a 1989 graduate of Maysville High School. She loved her family, friends and co-workers. There was never a question about what she was thinking as she was very outspoken and as some have said, unfiltered. Raquel worked for the Chickasaw Nation as security and a dispatcher. She enjoyed her time in the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and spending time with her loved ones. She also spent her free time crocheting, shopping, and going to casinos. Raquel made friends easily wherever she was and her influence and legacy will carry on. She will be truly missed.

Raquel is survived by her husband, Kevin Ray Leach of the home; parents, Collin and Linda Sue Murray of Maysville; daughters: Amara Craven and Michael York of Lexington; and Jade Arroyo of Jones; sons: Dakota Leach of Maysville; and Kristoffer Leach and Stephanie Mercado of Fairview; sister, Whitney Degering and husband Donald Degering of Paoli.
Grandchildren: Kannon Leach; Tierra, Gabriel, and Sophia Arroyo; Lyrix, Stelly, Zaylee, and Zalyla Dunlap; Lovlynn, Hunter, Kristoffer Kenton, Aiden, and Adrianna Leach.
Father and mother-in-law, Darrell and Corinne Leach of Guthrie; brothers and sisters-in-law: J. R. Leach and Susan; and Mike Leach and Sharon. Her trusted confidante Lizzie, her chocolate lab. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, close friends, and co-workers.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, March 24, 2023 at the First Assembly of God Church, Maysville with Bro. Johnny Tyler officiating under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at www.winansfuneralhome.com
