Debra "Debbie" Gale Durham

Debra Gale “Debbie” Durham, 56, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at her home in Norman. Debbie was born February 22, 1959 in Los Angeles, California to Billy Ray and Ardith Marie (Jones)Howard. Debbie grew up in Maysville, Oklahoma and at the age of 32 she met and married the love of her life, Larry Durham, and has made her home in Norman for the past 21 years. Debbie devoted her life to helping others throughout her career in the medical field however, her true passion was spending time with her family and riding the trails, on her loyal companion Diego, with her friends, “The Banditos”. She was a very outgoing people person and will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. Survivors include her husband Larry Durham of the home; her father Billy Howard and his wife Betty of Maysville; two daughters, Sunni Conway and her husband Cory of Oklahoma City; Kaly Shepherd and her husband Derrick of Norman; One son, Christopher Durham; and grandchildren Nicole, Morgan and Landon Miller, Zoey Nunn, Maly Harris and Tyler Durham. Debbie was preceded in death by her mother Ardith, her grandparents, Orvis and Ruth Jones and Lester and Vena Howard. Family and friends visitation will be held from 6-8 pm, Monday. June 1, 2015 at Winans Funeral Home Chapel. Debbie will take her final trail ride with her Banditos at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Winans Funeral Home Chapel, Maysville. Bro. Tim Carr will officiate with burial in the Maysville Cemetery under the direction of John Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK.
