Wilma Jean Adams Gossett of River Oaks, Texas was born on August 14, 1937 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Riley Adams and Connie (Powell) Adams and passed from this life on Saturday, October 20, 2018 in her home at the age of 81 years.
Wilma grew up in the Hughes/Wallville area, graduating from Hughes High School in 1954. She lived in Texas for 50 years where she enjoyed working as a bank loan processor. She loved her family and spending time with them. Wilma enjoyed fishing, reading, playing cards and computer games, and caring for her houseplants. She collected wind chimes, owls, clocks, and Elvis memorabilia, as she was a big Elvis fan and loved his music. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family.
Her survivors include grandchildren, Ty Gossett and his wife Courtney of the home, and Kristi Renae Thorne of Fort Worth, Texas.
Sister, Sandy Martin and brother, Don Adams both of Maysville.
Step-sons, Tracy Gossett of Fort Worth and Marty Gossett of Tulsa.
And many other relatives.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, Riley and Connie Adams; husband, Mickey Gossett; a son, Mark Gossett; brothers, Troy Adams and Melvin Adams; and sisters, Bernice McCaleb, Dorothy Dawson, Betty Jo Cook, and Cleta Faye Adams.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, October 26, 2018 at the Abundant Love Fellowship, Maysville with Bro. Danny Gamble officiating.
