William "Bill" Marion Cundiff

William Marion “Bill” Cundiff of Lindsay was born on March 3, 1946 in Charleston, West Virginia to Elmer and Ova (Gaylor) Cundiff and passed from this life on Friday, January 31, 2020 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 73 years.

Bill grew up in Charleston and later served his country in the United States Army overseas in the Vietnam War. He retired after working many years as a truck driver in the oilfield and during his working years possessed a very strong work ethic. Bill loved to spend time with his sons and was a very dedicated father to them. He loved racing his open wheel cars on dirt tracks. Since his retirement he was enjoying his cats. Bill was fiercely devoted to his friends and would make it a point to check on all of them on a daily basis. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

His survivors include his two sons, William Benton Cundiff and David Michael Cundiff, both of Louisville, Kentucky.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Ova Cundiff.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, February 6, 2020 at the Bradley Cemetery. Burial will be under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, Oklahoma. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at www.winansfuneralhome.com
