Wanda L. Wright

Wanda L. Wright of Maysville was born on August 7, 1936 in Gerty, Oklahoma to Hoyt and Senna (Nix) Miller. She passed from this life on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 84 years. Wanda was lifetime resident of Oklahoma. She married Clarence Wright on January 13, 1956 in McAlester, Oklahoma. They lived in Chickasha before moving to Maysville in 1969. Wanda was a full time homemaker who had also worked as a certified nurse’s aide at McCaskill Nursing Home in Maysville. She loved her family and all the time they spent together. Wanda’s favorite holiday was Christmas and she enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She liked to show Carsyn how to cook. Wanda was always ready to go anytime the car was going some place. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Her survivors include her husband of 64 years, Clarence of the home. Sons: Jim Wright and wife Beverly of Maysville and Jerry Wright and wife Karen of Purcell. Daughters: Peggy James and Patsy Dobson Sedinger both of Maysville. Brothers: Glen Miller of Comanche; Larry Dale Miller of Holdenville; and Ron Miller of Yukon. Sisters: Earlene Howard of Gerty; Phyllis Julian of Norman; Betty Payne of Yukon; Linda Solder of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania; and Sherry Miller-Watson of Live Oak, Texas. 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Hoyt and Senna Miller; an infant daughter, Penny Wright; grandson, Jerry Don Wright; great grandson, Cade Owen Wright; and sisters: Kate West and Dean Hammer. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, September 26, 2020 at the Maysville Cemetery with Bro. Danny Gamble officiating. Burial will be under the direction of John W.
