Theda Clure of Arroyo Grande, California, formerly of Maysville was born on April 26, 1926 in Blanchard, Oklahoma to John and Virgie Mae (Hankins) Thompson and she passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018 in her home at the age of 91 years. Theda was a longtime resident of Maysville before moving to California in 2011 to be near her daughter. She married James Carl Clure on November 3, 1941. She had worked as a dental assistant and owned her own restaurant. Theda loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, gardening, canning, flowers, and she made her own coats and hats. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Maysville and had been a member of the Maysville Mother’s Club. Theda will be dearly missed by her family.Her survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Baxter of Arroyo Grande, California.Grandchildren: David Osborn, Jonathan Baxter and wife Laura, and Megan Pap and husband David.Great-grandchildren: Cameron Osborn, Rory Baxter, Logan Pap, and Nolan Pap.Theda was preceded in death by her parents, John and Virgie Thompson and her husband, James Carl Clure.Burial will be in the Mt.
