Steven Gwyn Adams

Steven Gwyn Adams was born on April 15, 1977, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Jerry and Patricia (Yancy) Adams. He passed away peacefully at his farm in Wellston surrounded by his loved ones on February 2, 2025, at the age of 47 years.

Steven was a pilot for Omni Air and he loved flying airplanes. Throughout his lifetime he traveled many amazing places all over the world and he made friends everywhere he went. Steven had a love for life and was a person you could always count on. He had a way to make everyone feel welcome and his home was always open to anyone who needed a place to stay and you could always count on him for advice. Steven loved children and his nieces and nephews felt like he hung the moon. He had a great sense of humor and he was a true OSU cowboy. He had club seats at Boone Pickens Stadium and he wore the color orange proud. Steven also enjoyed George Strait, fishing in Minnesota, and Fox News. Steven was a friend to many and will be truly missed by everyone who knew and loved him. 

Steven is survived by: brothers: Kenny Adams and Twila of Newalla, Oklahoma and Jeremy Adams and Johnna of Blanchard, Oklahoma; sisters: Letha Stowers and BJ of Moore, Oklahoma and Stacey Kilcrease of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; nephews: Marc Stowers, Klayton Adams, Kolton Adams, and Jerry Ray Stowers; nieces: Codi Pugh, Marissa Kunzman, and Megan Stowers; great nieces and nephews: Jaxon, Kiazer, Karter, Silas, Brynlee, Jace, and Hudson; and countless friends and other family members.

Steven was preceded in death by: parents, Jerry and Patricia Adams; maternal grandparents, Walter and Charlene Yancy; and paternal grandparents, Clarence and Arlie Belle Adams.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 7, 2025, at First Assembly of God in Maysville, Oklahoma with Bro. Lawrence Neisent officiating.
