Ronnie Wayne Williams was born on February 9, 1944, in Henryetta, Oklahoma to Noble and Oley (Flynn) Williams. He passed away peacefully on February 11, 2025, in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years.
Ronnie attended and graduated from Hughes School. Having worked his entire career in the oilfield he was a semi-retired wireline operator. He married Carolyn Richards on July 1, 1966, and they remained in the Lindsay area where they raised their family. Ronnie was a loving husband, father, and papa. He loved his family and was especially proud of his grandkids and the young men and women they had become.
Ronnie loved the outdoors and being out in nature, especially hunting and fishing with all of his grandkids and great grand kids. He also enjoyed traveling with Carolyn and seeing new sites.
Ronnie is survived by: wife, Carolyn Williams; daughters: Kelli Lindsey and Mitch of Lindsay, Oklahoma and Kim Combs and David of Lindsay, Oklahoma; brothers: Ray Williams of Lindsay, Oklahoma and Ted Williams of Lindsay, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Joshua Lindsey and Lauren of Springtown, Texas, Macy Bowen and Jake of Lindsay, Oklahoma, Jake Lindsey and Macy of Lindsay, Oklahoma, Annie Williams and Cole of Washington, Oklahoma, Brady Combs of Mustang, Oklahoma, and Bryson Combs of El Reno, Oklahoma; and great grandchildren: Gracie Lindsey, Wyatt Lindsey, Jace Bowen, Nash Bowen, Luke Bowen, Remi Williams, and Brinlee Williams.
Ronnie is preceded in death by: his parents, Noble and Oley Williams.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 14, 2025, at Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay, Oklahoma with Bro. Nick Johnson officiating. Burial is under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home in Maysville, Oklahoma. Words of comfort may be sent to the family on this website.
