Roberta Ann Oliver

Roberta Ann Oliver, 77 of Chickasha formerly of Wayne was born on May 26, 1944 in Maysville, Oklahoma to Robert and June Willene (Powell) Moore. She passed from this life on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 in Chickasha, Oklahoma at the age of 77 years.

Roberta grew up in McClain County and married Curtis Oliver on June 10, 1963 in Wayne. They lived in the Wayne/Purcell area until they moved to Chickasha a year ago. Traveling, camping, fishing, sight-seeing, and anything outdoors brought her great joy. Roberta enjoyed gardening, flowers, and shopping at Walmart, Sam’s, and Atwoods. She loved spoiling their dachshund, Bandit. She volunteered at the Wayne Head Start. She was a member of the Byars Baptist Church.

Survivors are her husband of 58 years, Curtis of the home.
Brother, Larry Wayne Moore and wife Jaquita of Washington.
Sister, Carolyn Ruth and husband Richard of Durango, Colorado.

Roberta was preceded in death by her parents; brother, David Moore; and sisters, Mary Sue Penner, Annette Joy McDowell, Loverta Moore, and Margie Findley.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, August 30, 2021 at the Byars Cemetery with Pastor Eutimio Dela Cruz officiating. Burial will be under the direction of John W.
