Rickey Allen Eyler, affectionately known as Rick, was born on April 26, 1964, in the heart of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, and left us far too soon on March 22, 2025, at the age of 60. At the time of his passing, he was a resident of Lindsay, Oklahoma, a place he called home with his wife, Dawn Eyler. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work and devotion for his family.
Rick's journey through life was marked by a blend of warmth, humor, and unwavering faith. A graduate of Pauls Valley High School, Rick carried the lessons of his youth into adulthood, where he cultivated a life rich with love and dedication. His belief in Christianity was not just a personal guiding light but also a beacon of hope and resilience for his family and friends. Rick loved his home and the view from the front door.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Jim and Melva Eyler, great-grandparents, Floyd Thomas and Eva Jane Harris; his grandparents, Melvin and Hildreth Harris, Williams Jones, Mark Stiles and Dustin Ray Brooks who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms in the afterlife.
His battle with cancer was fought with the kind of bravery and perseverance that left a lasting impact on all who knew him. Rick's unwavering spirit and courage in the face of adversity were nothing short of inspirational. The man who never met a stranger, Rick's love for his family and friends was as vast as the Oklahoma skies.
God said ‘I will never leave you or forsake you’...and he didn’t. God truly blessed Rick’s life with a family that loved and cared for him.
To honor Rick's life and his enduring spirit, a “Celebration of Life” will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025. Further details will be shared at a later time. It will be a day to remember the joy and love he brought into our lives and to celebrate the remarkable man who has now passed through the gates of glory, free from pain and made whole.
