Raymond Leon Ingram of McLoud was born on January 29, 1947 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Delbert and Wanda (Perry) Ingram. He passed from this life on January 1, 2022 in his home at the age of 74 years. Leon was a resident of Oklahoma City before moving to McLoud 26 years ago. He married Carol Ann Shaw on July 8, 1982 in Oklahoma City and she preceded in him in death October 2018. He worked as a deputy for the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Department. Leon was a member of the U. S. Army where he served his country and also was a member of the Oklahoma Air National Guard for 17 years. He loved his family and liked to play his guitar and sing for them. Leon enjoyed fishing, hunting, and riding motorcycles. He will be greatly missed. Survivors include his daughters: Dolli Phillips and Guy of McLoud and Robin Bowlan and Doug of McLoud. Grandchildren: Stormi (Kevin) Boland, Anthony Ingram, Cody (Lauran) Ingram, Kathryn (Chris) Newvine, Nicholas Ingram, and Nicole (Eric) McGill. Great grandchildren: Hope, Issac, and Eric Boland; Presli and Kolt Ingram; Carter and Kennedi Newvine; and Adeline McGill. Leon was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carol Ingram; daughter, Christi Morris; and brothers, Irvin Eugene Ingram and Delbert Warren Ingram. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Winans Funeral Home Chapel, Maysville with Rev. James Walter officiating. Burial will be in the Maysville Cemetery under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK.
