Raymond “Corky” Clark Baker was born on May 11, 1952, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Karl Baker and Joan (Pumphrey) Baker and passed away on February 2, 2024, in Ardmore, Oklahoma at the age of 71 years.
Corky was a resident of Ardmore and a pumper for the oilfield. He enjoyed working on cars, traveling, fishing and being outdoors.
Most important to Corky was his family and spending time together. He will be missed dearly.
Survived by: his wife, Pam Baker, children: Jason Clark Baker of Wynnewood, Oklahoma, Andrea Larae Baker of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Chris Schroeder of Wynnewood, Oklahoma, Jeramie Schroeder of Wynnewood, Oklahoma, and Tamara Kusser of Ardmore, Oklahoma; siblings: Russell Campbell and Brenda of Summerfield, Oklahoma, Bob Baker & Chris of Tishomingo, Oklahoma, Kenneth Campbell and Connie of Summerfield, Oklahoma, Presley Nicks of Palo Pinto, Texas, Mike Marsh and Shirley of Lindsay, Oklahoma, Lori Beyers of Salt Lake City, Utah, Kelley George and Dewey of Bakersfield, California, and Ronnie Marion and Dani of San Tan Valley, Arizona; 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Preceded by: parents, Karl and Joan Baker; wife, Larae Baker; and brother and sister in law, Charles and Donna Campbell.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am, Friday, February 9, 2024, at The Foundation Church in Maysville, Oklahoma with Bro. Mike Deviney officiating. Burial at Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay, Oklahoma under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home in Maysville, Oklahoma. Words of comfort may be sent to the family on this website.
