Paul Don Albright

Paul Don Albright was born on February 21, 1947 in Maysville to Leo Loyd “Junior” Albright and Doris Lauretta (Morton) Albright and passed from this life on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 75 years.

Paul Don was a lifetime resident of Maysville, graduating from Maysville High School in 1965. He served his country in the U. S. Army. He loved his family and spending time with them, especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren. Paul Don worked in the oilfield for several years before he started a horse transportation service in which continued doing for 30 years. He also loved his horses, whether they were racing or the ones he was transporting. He enjoyed being around his friends at the track and the relationships he built with the people he hauled for and the places he got to visit. P. D. made a lot of friends and memories throughout his life. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his children: Luke Albright (Marsha) of Oklahoma City; Jena RedElk (Jeremy Smith) of Maysville; Kelly Butler (Ronnie) of Wilson; and Fury Stinnett of Lindsay.
Brothers: Robert Albright and wife Loaney of Wynnewood, and Terry Albright and wife Eulonda of Maysville; sister, Joy Franklin and husband Billy of Lindsay.
10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Paul Don was preceded in death by his parents, Junior and Doris Albright; a daughter, Shelly Albright; sister, Linda Darlene Albright; brothers, Mickey Albright and Ricky Dale Albright.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, December 9, 2022 at the First Baptist Church, Maysville, Oklahoma with Bro. Danny Gamble officiating.
