Patricia Lou Boyer of Maysville was born on February 11, 1936 in Wilson, Oklahoma to Luther Paul and Irene (Spears) Ivey. She passed from this life on Monday, December 11, 2017 in Oklahoma City at the age of 81 years.Patricia was a lifetime resident of the Maysville area, growing up in Story and graduating from Maysville High School in 1954. She was a high school cheerleader, a class queen and the first Home Economics president in the Maysville Schools. She married Forrest Donald Boyer on November 27, 1954 in Maysville. Patricia worked for 2 years in the school cafeteria and for the Garvin Springs Election Board. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who was dedicated to her family and taking care of them. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, canning, sewing for her daughters, and visiting and having coffee with friends. Patricia never complained even in sickness. She was a member of the First Baptist Church where she had been a Sunday School teacher and Vacation Bible School director for many years and enjoyed Falls Creek Summer Camp. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.Her survivors include her husband of 63 years, Forrest Donald Boyer of the home.Daughters: Pam Wood and husband Roger of Graham, Texas; Rebecca Tate and husband Scott of Maysville; Kim Chandler of Edmond; and Amy England and husband Daryl of Newcastle.Grandchildren: Katie Allen and husband Richard of Trophy Club, Texas; Emily Wood of Los Angeles, California; Amber Chandler of Edmond; Tyler Tate and wife Erika of Enid; Bryson Tate of Maysville; Kaylyn Davis and husband Brandon of Maysville; Joel, Blair, and Drew England of Newcastle, and deceased grandson, Cory Chandler.Great grandchildren: Bennett and Evie Allen of Trophy Club, Texas; and Tripp Tate of Enid; and Easton and Hudson Davis of Maysville.Brother, Bob Ivey and wife Bonnie of Maysville.And nieces and nephews.Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; brother Don Ivey; son-in-law Alan Chandler, and grandson Cory Chandler.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, December 15, 2017 in the First Baptist Church, Maysville with Rev. Charley Henthorn officiating. Burial will be in the Maysville Cemetery under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK.
