Otho Darrell Ware

Otho Darrell Ware of Lindsay, Oklahoma was born on September 3, 1939 in Mangum, Oklahoma to Otho Lee Ware and Wilma E. (Tarleton) Ware. He passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 in Purcell, Oklahoma at the age of 79 years.

Darrell grew up in Mangum. He served his country in the United States Air Force. He moved to the Lindsay/Maysville area in 1977. Darrell worked as a self-employed heavy equipment operator, trucking, welding, and farming. He enjoyed his work, hunting, and being outdoors. He was a affiliated with the Baptist Church and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

His survivors include his wife, Elaine Ware of the home.
Children: Michael Ware of Oklahoma City; Terry Ware of Mangum; Chris Ware and wife, Danielle of Middleberg, Florida; and Dewayne Ware of Wynnewood.
Sister, Verna Ruth Jolly of Oklahoma.
And numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Darrell was preceded in death by his parents, Otho Lee and Wilma Ware; wife, Joyce Ware; and sisters, Tommy Jean Baker, and Frankie Wooster.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the Hughes Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at www.winansfuneralhome.com
