Norma Jean Roberts

Norma Jean Roberts of Maysville, OK was born on September 28, 1943 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Albert Oran Davis and Florrie Marie (Middleton) Davis. She passed from this life on Monday, September 26, 2022 in Maysville at the age of 78 years.

Norma was raised in the Parks community and graduated from Maysville High School in 1961. She married James Edward Roberts on September 30, 1961 in Gainesville, Texas and they had four children: Stan, Kim, Karen, and Keith. She worked as a cook and waitress for cafes. This sweet lady loved her family so much and enjoyed when they could all get together. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Maysville and she loved her church and studying the Bible. Norma’s favorite hobby was music, whether she was singing, playing the guitar, writing music, or preforming. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her daughters: Karen Renae DaVoult and James of Maysville and Kimberly Renae Waite and Dale of Lindsay. Sister, Deborah Davis of Maysville. Grandchildren: Tami & Josh, Christina & Dakota, Brandi & Matt, James & Crystal, Jessica, Jennifer & Justin, Jaycee, Brianna, Kaylee, Amber, Heather, Gary, Heath, Jacob, Kris & Lauren, Clint & Holly, and Jessica & Daniel. Great grandchildren: Maddox, Krae, Rawling, Doc, Briar, Elizabeth, Everett, Eli, Heaven, Mylee, Bubba Joe, Charlee, Bella, Mason, Paisley, Jolee, Emma, Braylee, Everlyn, and Adelynn.

Norma is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Edward Roberts; two sons, Keith Edward Roberts and Stan Spivey; and brothers, Silva Eugene Davis and Rubin Leon Davis.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, September 29, 2022 in the Maysville Cemetery with Bro. Brent Higgins officiating. Burial will be under the direction of John W.
