Monte Claire Linn

Monte Claire Linn was born on September 15, 1967, in Grand Island, Nebraska to Harley and Della (Cudaback) Linn. He passed away peacefully on December 2, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 57 years.

After high school graduation, Monte joined the Marines where he was a helicopter mechanic. He was a proud Marine (Semper Fi). Upon completion of his service Monte began working in road construction. 

Monte enjoyed roofing and helping out on the farm. He enjoyed the companionship from his dog, Jack. Monte loved his family and he enjoyed the time they spent together. 

Monte will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

Monte is survived by: sons: Skylar Linn and John Terrell Linn of Palisade, Colorado; and cousin, Brigitte Steinwart, Michael and family of Maysville, Oklahoma.

Monte is preceded in death by: parents, Harley and Della Linn; brother, Frosty Linn; sisters, Carla Minnema, Carol Linn, and Elizabeth Phelps.

Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Steinwart Farm, 23472 ECR 1540, Maysville, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home in Maysville, Oklahoma. Words of comfort may be sent to the family on this website.
