Mary Sue attended Byford Grade School and was a graduate of Stratford High School, and she said the only time she got out of school was to pick cotton in the Fall. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who was an excellent cook and was known for her cornbread dressing and fried pies. Farming was always a big part of her life. She could run swathers, tractors, and trucks all while raising a garden and their children. She loved, loved her family and treasured each one of them and expressed her love to each one in her own special way. Mary Sue was always so welcoming to everyone she met and her church was a major part of her life. She was a member of the Abundant Love Fellowship. Through the years she has gained countless friends and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
