Marshall Wayne Ward

July 8, 1955 — April 22, 2021

Marshall Wayne Ward of Pauls Valley was born on July 8, 1955 in Maysville, Oklahoma to William and Ruby (Henderson) Ward.   He passed from this life on Thursday, April 22, 2021 in Shawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 65 years.  
 
Wayne grew up in Paoli, graduating from Paoli High School in 1974.  He married Evelyn Gibson on October 17, 1997 in Arkansas.  He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.  Wayne loved his job as a crane operator, it was his passion.   He was extremely skilled in his crane equipment knowledge.   He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson’s motorcycle.  Wayne was very laid back, easy going, and liked by everybody.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
 
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn of the home.
Sons: Rodney Watson of Pauls Valley; Heath Watson of Elmore City; Adam Achziger of Virginia; and Alan Dillie of Boulder, Colorado.
Daughter, Barbara Cortez of Denver, Colorado.
Brothers, Roger Self of Spencer and Darrell Ward of Paoli.
Grandchildren: Zyane, Tabitha, and Christina, four great grandchildren,
and numerous other relatives.
 
Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Ruby Ward.
 
A Celebration of Wayne’s Life with his immediate family only will be held in the Paoli Cemetery. His cousin, Sandra Percell will be officiating.  Words of comfort may be sent to the family at www.winansfuneralhome.com
