Lonnie Gene Rudder

Lonnie Gene Rudder of Lindsay was born on January 23, 1962 in Dallas, Texas to David Rudder and Rose (Boyett) Hagler. He passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018 in Lindsay, Oklahoma at the age of 56 years.Lonnie grew up in Stratford. He worked as an arborist, a job he really enjoyed and he had once won a Jubilee Climbing skills contest. Three years ago, he moved from McAlester to Lindsay where he was working as a truck driver for Advantage Oil Field Services. He married Stephanie Roberts on June 7, 2014 in Las Vegas, Neveda. Lonnie was a great husband and daddy and loved his grandbabies. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, noodling, dancing, and playing strategy games. He was known to be ornery, and a straight talker, and lived life to the fullest everyday. Lonnie will be greatly missed by his family and friends.Survivors include his wife, Stephanie of the home in Lindsay.Mother, Rose Hagler of Atoka.Sons: Jeremy Rudder of Oregon, Taylor Suenram of Lindsay, and Alexander Rudder of Lindsay. Daughters: Staci Rudder of Norman, Samantha Rudder of Noble, and Heily Suenram of Lindsay. Brothers: Doc Rudder and Ronnie Rudder, both of Hugo.Sisters: Sarah Rudder-Mbah of Hugo, Vicki Rudder of Durant, and Linda Scott of Hugo.Grandchildren: Ayden Morgan, Braxton Rudder, Benjamin Smeal, Andrew Allen. And Conner Wines.Lonnie was preceded in death by his father, David Rudder.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First National Bank of Lindsay to benefit the family of Lonnie Rudder.A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5 to 7 pm, Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Winans Funeral Home, 405 Sixth Street (Hwy 19), Maysville, OK.On Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 5 to 7 pm, there will be a visitation at the New Hope Church of God, 238 Bearden Springs Rd., Hugo, OK.Memorial services will be held at 12:30 pm, Friday, at the New Hope Church of God, 238 Bearden Springs Rd., Hugo, OK.
