Linda L. Voyles

Linda Lavon Voyles of Pauls Valley was born on May 12, 1953 in Mesa, Arizona to Paul C. and Edna Margaret (Rawson) Caldwell. She passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 64 years.Linda grew up in the Maysville area where she was a member of the Maysville High School Class of 1972, and she later obtained her GED. She moved to Pauls Valley in 2012 where she worked as a caregiver for the Garvin County Community Living Center and enjoyed taking care of others and especially those involved in her job. She was always dependable and eager to help in any way she could even on her days off and would always root for the underdog. Linda loved spending time with her family and friends and will be greatly missed by them. She liked tending to her plants and working in her flower gardens. She lived a life of service to others. Linda was affiliated with the Assembly of God Church.Her survivors include her daughters: Margaret Voyles-Ralston and husband, Steven Ralston of Pauls Valley and Jeanna Gregory and husband Les Gregory of Ada.Brothers: Harold Caldwell of Enos and Frank Caldwell and Gerri Lynne of Davis.Sisters: Rita Harmon and husband Don of Clear Creek; Peggy Sirmons and husband Wade of Justin, Texas; and Patsy Thompson of Del City.Grandchildren, Shyanne Ralston and Steven Ralston, Jr.And numerous other relatives.Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Paul Caldwell; daughter, Anna Lee Sikes; brothers, Willie Caldwell and Arthur Caldwell; and sisters, Cheryl Ann Caldwell and Leta Caldwell.A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5 to 7 pm, Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Winans Funeral Home, 405 Sixth Street (Hwy 19), Maysville, OK.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, January 8, 2018 at the First Assembly of God Church, Maysville with Rev. Billy Davenport and Rev. Michael Daggett officiating. Burial will be in the Maysville Cemetery under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK.
