Linda Sue Jackson

Linda Sue Jackson of Lindsay was born on June 6, 1949 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to John and Grace (Slater) Woodmansee. She passed from this life on Friday, September 20, 2019 in Lindsay at the age of 70 years.

Linda grew up in Oklahoma City where she attended Crooked Oak Schools. She resided in Maysville until she moved to Lindsay two years ago. She was a devoted homemaker who loved family get togethers and holiday cooking. Linda enjoyed fishing, garage sales, dancing, and classic country music. She loved the Lord and was affiliated with the First Assembly of God Church.

Her survivors include sons: Bobby Trout and Cindra of Maysville; Mark Trout of Springtown; stepsons, Carlton White and Becky of Lindsay; and Terry White and Tonya of Lindsay.
Step-daughters: Carol Horner and Richard of Lindsay and Beverly Crites and John of Maysville.
Sisters: Barbara Sutterfield of Newcastle and Doris Cantrell of McAlester.
10 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, John and Grace Woodmansee; husband, Carl Loyd White; son, Millard Trout III; sisters, June Owens, Mary Pain, Katherine Sutterfield, and Shirley Doss; and brothers, Norm, Jack, Bob, Glen, Richard and Virgil Woodmansee.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, September 25, 2019 in the Maysville Cemetery with burial under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at www.winansfuneralhome.com
