Lester Dwight Cagle, of Norman, OK, was born on October 14, 1932 in Antioch, Oklahoma to Lester Joseph Cagle and Maude Lillian (Murdock) Cagle. He passed from this life on Monday, December 25, 2017 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 85 years.Dwight graduated from Maysville High School in 1951 and went on to earn his Journeyman’s Electrician License from Tinker Air Force Base. He married his wife of 61 years, Darlene, on November 10, 1956 at the First Baptist Church in Maysville, Oklahoma. They have lived in Norman for the past 29 years, moving there from Oklahoma City. Dwight had worked as an electrician for the FAA Center in Oklahoma City.Dwight played a vital leadership role in the remodeling of the Antioch School House in Antioch, OK. He enjoyed buying and remodeling homes, investing in the stock market and was the problem solver of the family. He enjoyed spending time with his family, which often included fishing, hunting and camping as his children were being raised. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Norman, Oklahoma. His survivors include his wife of 61 years, Darlene.Children: Daughter, Angela Cagle Harkey of Oklahoma City; Sons, Curtis Joseph Cagle and wife Jana of Moore, OK, and Steven Cagle and wife Renee of Pasadena, TX. Grandchildren: Michael Cagle, Joshua Cagle, Alyse Cagle Beames and Bess Harkey.
