Leonard Hershel Coffee

Leonard Hershel Coffee of Lindsay was born on January 18, 1963 in Buttonwillow, California to Hershel Denson Coffee and Effie Virginia (Simpson) Coffee.  He passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 57 years.

Leonard grew up in Elmore City, OK, graduating from Elmore City High School in 1981.  He married Dianna Lynn Padgett on December 28, 1983 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma and they made their home in Lindsay.  He was employed almost 38 years for Rural Electric Cooperative in Lindsay where he worked as a Journeyman Lineman and Safety Coordinator.  Leonard loved his family and traveling.  He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and woodworking.  He was an Eagle Scout and a member of the Kiwanis Club and Elks Lodge.  Leonard will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

His survivors include his wife of 37 years, Dianna of the home; daughter, Cheyenne Coffee and son, Carson Coffee, both of Lindsay, as well as countless friends.

Leonard was preceded in death by his parents, Hershel and Virginia Coffee; and his brothers, Kenneth Coffee and James Coffee.

Masks and social distancing will be in practice at the Memorial services.

Leonard's memorial service will be broadcast live on Winans Funeral Home Facebook page.
