Lee Wanda McCurtain of Maysville was born on November 18, 1927 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Marion and Hazel (McManus) Harris. She passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 in Purcell, Oklahoma at the age of 93 years.

Lee Wanda was a lifetime resident of Maysville. She married Silas “Bugs” McCurtain on April 2, 1945 in Maysville and to this union 5 children were born. She loved people, traveling and visiting different places, and going out to eat. Lee Wanda enjoyed flowers and working in her flower beds. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Maysville and loved her church family and Sunday School Class.

Her survivors include her daughters, Donna Hudgens and husband Steve of Odessa, Texas; Vickie Jacks and husband Bill of Maysville; and son Stanley McCurtain and wife Laura of Maysville.
Brothers, Ronnie Harris of Pauls Valley and Don Harris and wife Marsha of Maysville.
Sister-in-law, Minnie Harris of Weatherford, OK and brother-in-law, Clarence Bowen of Maysville.
And numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Lee Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Hazel Harris; husband, Silas “Bugs” McCurtain; 2 sons, Stephen Ray McCurtain and Michael Forrest McCurtain; granddaughter, Nicki Hudgens; sister, Wilma Bowen; and brothers, Vernon “Sonny” Harris, L. D. Harris, and Willie B. Harris; and sisters-in-law, Linda Harris and Dorothy Harris.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4 to 6 pm, Friday, January 1, 2021 at Winans Funeral Home Chapel, Maysville, OK.

Masks and social distancing will be in place at the cemetery.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the Maysville Cemetery with burial under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at [email protected]
