Larry Charles Palmer

Larry Charles Palmer was born on October 4, 1953, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Marada Jack Palmer and Alice Maxine (Weese) Palmer. He passed away unexpectedly on October 16, 2024, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 71 years.

Larry was a hardworking, self-made man who retired from OG&E. He was witty and funny, and quite the prankster. Above all he was a loving father and grandfather, his family brought him great joy. Larry enjoyed music, the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and a good campfire. He will be missed dearly.

Larry is survived by: daughter, Alicia Haskins and Lee of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sons: Michael Palmer of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Benjamin Palmer and Tammy of Norman, Oklahoma, and Jason Palmer and Shannon of Slaughterville, Oklahoma; brother, Daniel Palmer of Chickasha, Oklahoma; sisters: Doris “DJ” Baxter and Steve of Ada, Oklahoma, Angela Robison and Will of Blanchard, Oklahoma, and Patricia Palmer of Erin Springs, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Elizabeth, Brenda, Kimberly, Miranda, Drew, Dakoda, and Magan.

Larry is preceded in death by: his parents, Marada and Alice Palmer; brothers: James Palmer and Marada Palmer; and sister, Jackie Cecil.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm, on Friday, October 25, 2024, at Erin Springs Baptist Church. Burial at Erin Springs Cemetery under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home in Maysville, Oklahoma. Words of comfort may be sent to the family on this website.
