Larry Don McKee

Larry Don McKee of Maysville was born on August 1, 1947 in Wilson, Oklahoma to Jack McKee and Valura Margaret (Sides) McKee. He passed from this life on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 in his home at the age of 71 years.Larry worked in lumberyards for many years in Texas and Oklahoma with the last one being Gordon White Lumber Company and also worked at Burford Corporation before retiring. He married Donna Shriver on August 25, 1990 in Grand Prairie, Texas and in 1995 they moved to Donna’s hometown of Maysville. He was a great dad who loved his family and all the great times he spent with them. Larry was a self-taught guitar player, fantastic snooker and pool player, and avid golfer. He enjoyed archery tournaments and carpentry. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.His survivors include his wife, Donna of the home.Daughters: Tracy Case and husband Marc of Gordonville, TX; Diane Hadley of Marlin, TX; Darelyn Keim of Clyde, TX; Carey Enloe and husband Shawn of Velma, OK; and Valisa McKee of Sherman, TX.A sister, Linda Ratchford and husband Steve of Davis, OK and sister-in-law, Debbie Cypert of Grand Prairie, TX.16 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Valura McKee; a brother, Tom Cypert; and son, Rickey Pyle.Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church, Maysville with Steve Ratchford and Bro.
