Larry Thomas Cooper of Maysville was born on February 8, 1949 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Tommy Atwood Cooper and Ramona Mae (Holt) Cooper. He passed away on Monday, August 9, 2021 at Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 72 years.

Larry was a lifetime resident of Maysville, while living his life south of Rush Creek. He graduated from Maysville High School in 1967. He served his country in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Larry married Pamela Sue Richards on January 17, 1970 in Gainesville, Texas. He has always been a farmer and was retired from the Federal Aviation Administration where he worked as a machinist. Larry loved his family and his dog, Patch. He enjoyed sitting in his rocking chair in his shop while drinking Dr. Pepper, listening to his records, and taking naps.

Survivors include his son, Larry Cooper II and wife Misty of Pauls Valley and daughter, Susan Pope and husband Mike of Maysville.
Brothers: Tommy Allen Cooper and Shane Cooper both of McAlester.
Sister, Mary Ann Huey and husband Roger of Maysville.
Grandchildren: Tyler Pope and Thomas Pope and wife Kaitlyn all of Maysville.
Nicole Blackburn and husband Kevin and Paige Cooper all of Pauls Valley.
A great granddaughter, Jolene May Pope of Maysville.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Tommy Cooper and Ramona Eaves; his spouse of 37 years Pamela Sue (Richards) Cooper; brothers, Bobby Cooper and Jimmy Cooper; and sister, Judy Booker.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, August 12, 2021 in Winans Funeral Home Chapel, Maysville. Burial will be in the Maysville Cemetery under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at www.winansfuneralhome.com
