Lana Dianne Cordell

Lana Dianne (Cambron) Cordell of Lindsay, Oklahoma was born on June 15, 1967 in Pauls Valley Oklahoma to Leon and Carolyn (Nelson) Cambron. She passed from this life on Monday, December 6, 2021 in LeFlore, Oklahoma at the age of 54.

Lana grew up in Lindsay where she graduated from Lindsay High School in 1986. She married Chris Cordell on August 4, 1989 in Lindsay, Oklahoma. She spent most of her life as a homemaker raising her family before getting her escorting license to go to work with Chris. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She loved camping at the lake with her dogs: Sammy, Roxy, and Rip. She also loved spending time with all of her family. She enjoyed dirt track races, watching her daughters barrel race, and riding on the Rangers at the river. Lana never met a stranger. She loved being with people. Even more she loved helping people. She would give you the shirt off her back if you asked. She knew how to have a good time and was the life of every party. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband, Chris Cordell of Lindsay.
Sons: Cody Cordell and Meghan of Lindsay and Colt Cordell and Mariah of Lindsay.
Daughters: Christina Trail and Tim of Lindsay, Carolyn Cordell and Manuel of Lindsay, and Courtney Cordell of Lindsay.
Grandchildren: Codan, Cole, Kensley, Case, Allie, Ci-Anna, Gemma, and Kingston all of Lindsay.
Sisters: Susan Cannon and Tim of Cameron, Elizabeth Cambron of Oklahoma City, and Shirley Rorabaugh and Danny of Moore.
Brothers and sisters-in-law: Jerry Cordell of LeFlore, Mark Herndon and Penny of Kingston, Melanie Herndon of Moore, Becky Herndon of Cameron, and Stephen Cordell of Madill.
And numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Lana was preceded in death by her parents; mother-in-law, Patty Stapp; sister-in-law, Cynthia Cordell and brother-in-law, Greg Herndon.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, December 13, 2021 at Winans Funeral Home Chapel, Maysville, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at www.winansfuneralhome.com
