Junnie Bee Perry of Lindsay was born on June 14, 1933 in Blanco, Oklahoma to Edmond L. and Jessie Jewel (Hennington) Perry. She passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021 in her home at the age of 87 years.
Junnie was a longtime resident of the Lindsay area. She was born the fourth of ten children. She grew up in the McAlester area where she attended school at Cooper, near Four Corners and Peaceable Valley. Junnie worked in Tulsa and Lindsay as a care giver and a charge nurse most of her life, retiring from Burford Manor in Lindsay. One of her favorite pastimes was watching television. She was a Christian who accepted Christ as her Savior in a Meeting at the Wallville Holiness Church. Junnie was a member of The New Hope Holiness Church in Lindsay and she loved going to church and was always faithful in giving her tithes.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Cheryl Geimausadle of Chickasha and two granddaughters, Amanda and Mary both of Chickasha.
Two brothers, Davis Perry and wife Diana of Lindsay and David Dean Perry of Lindsay.
She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Junnie was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Farron L. Perry; and 7 brothers and sisters, Lewis E. Hennington, Lucille McClish, Zetta L. Nail, Junior A. Perry, Robert C. Perry, Wilma M. Willis, and Betty L. Pettit.
Due to Covid-19, the family has chosen not to have any services. Arrangements for cremation is being handled by John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at www.winansfuneralhome.com
