Jimmy Leon Stephens was born on July 28, 1948 in Mooreland, Oklahoma to Grover Benton Stephens and Juanita Faye (Hilleary) Stephens and passed from this life on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 in his home at the age of 72 years.
Jimmy grew up in Ft. Supply, OK and married Donna Sue Lail on August 4, 1968 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. They lived in Fort Supply before moving to Lindsay 44 years ago. He worked as a truck driver and mechanic for Oklahoma Tank. Jimmy loved his family and spending time spoiling his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing and joking with people to make them laugh. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
His survivors include his sons, Jimmy Leon Stephens II of Woodward and Grover Benton Stephens of Lindsay.
Daughters: Angela Jarman and husband Teddy of Lindsay; Juanita Milligan and husband Kevin of Lindsay; Samantha Ellis and husband Harold of Perkins; and Julie Cowley and husband Jason of Perkins.
Brothers: Arlen Stephens of Woodward; Berk Stephens and wife Dedre of Fort Supply; and Charles Stephens and wife Shanna of Montana.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Sue Stephens; parents, Grover and Juanita Stephens; loving In-Laws, T. C. and Lucille Lail; sister, Shirley Allen; and brothers, Bob Stephens and his wife Linda Faye, Grover “Okie” Stephens, and Gerald Stephens and his wife Debbie.
Masks and social distancing will be in place for the services.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, November 30, 2020 at the Green Hill Cemetery with Bro. Danny Daniels officiating. Burial is under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at www.winansfuneralhome.com
