Jeremy Joe Holbert

Jeremy Joe “Bubba” Holbert of Maysville was born on June 5, 1975 in Parkersburg, West Virginia to Michael Joe Holbert and Alfreda (Gaston) Penry. He passed from this life on Sunday, October 27, 2019 in Eastover, North Carolina at the age of 44 years. In 1983 Jeremy and his family moved to Maysville from Louisiana. He graduated from Maysville High School in 1995, where he was active in football. He worked as a pipeline operator for REM Directional Drilling. Jeremy loved his children and everything they did and enjoyed playfully aggravating them. He often said that they were the one thing he did right. He enjoyed having coffee with his mother. Jeremy was always the center of attention and good for a laugh. He was an excellent provider for his family and would always put them before himself. He was a father figure to all of his nieces and nephews. Jeremy was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, Maysville. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Amber of the home.Parents, Alfreda Penry and Mike Penry of Maysville.Sons: Jarron Holbert of Davis; Jeremy “Bubba” Holbert of Maysville; and Kieran Ledwith of Slidell, Louisiana.Daughters: Baylee Holbert and fiancé Joel Carlos of Frisco, Texas; Bella Holbert of Maysville; and Jacy Eaves of Tushka, Oklahoma.Sisters: Tara Johnson and husband Mike of Lindsay; Shellie Holbert of Maysville; and Lori Beth Holbert of Maysville.Numerous nieces, nephews, and loving friends. Jeremy was preceded in death by his dad, Michael Joe Holbert; grandparents, Martis and Wavalene Farmer and Alfred Gaston. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, November 4, 2019 at the First Assembly of God Church with Bro. David Paul Flanary and Bro. Mike Deviney officiating. Burial will be in the Maysville Cemetery, Maysville, Oklahoma under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK.
