Jamie Dawn Davis Akerman

Jamie Dawn Davis Akerman of Maysville was born on November 21, 1978 in Purcell, Oklahoma to Jerry Davis and Donna (Lewis) Davis Dover. She passed away at the age of 43 years on Saturday, July 23, 2022 near Maysville due to a tragic accident.

Jamie grew up in Hobbs, New Mexico and then moved to Maysville at the age of 14 where she attended Maysville High School. She loved her children and spending time with them and other family members. She liked taking long baths, putting on makeup, and fixing her hair. Jamie enjoyed going to the casinos, watching the Lifetime Channel movies, music, coloring books, and decorating. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Her survivors include her children: Ethan Akerman; Brynlee, Gavin, and Phoenix Zumhof.
Brother, Gene Dover, Jr. and sister, Rachel Davis.
Aunt Patty Lawson; Uncle Ronnie Lewis and wife Penny; and cousins: Sherry Brown, Kathy Caldwell, Lance Lewis, Larry Lewis, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Jamie was preceded in death by her mother and dad, Donna Dover and Jerry Davis.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, July 29, 2022 at the First United Methodist Church, Maysville with Bro. Mike Deviney.
