Jacqueline Gwendolyn Masten of Maysville, formerly of Maine was born on October 24, 1941 in Brunswick, Maine. She is the daughter of Phyllis (Crooker) Rose and George Rose. She passed from this life on Sunday, March 6, 2022 in her home at the age of 80 years.
Jacqueline grew up in West Bath, Maine and obtained a college degree. After graduation she had worked as a computer programmer for IBM. In her early years, she had horses and was awarded the Roaster Champion with her Shetland stallion. She was in the drum corp in high school, and was a baton twirler. She enjoyed diving off the boats by the Atlantic shoreline, harvesting lobsters. She was also a model in California. Later, Jacqueline became a successful book author to "Shaker Poetic History" about her Great-Great Aunt Gertude Soule of Canterbury, New Hampshire. She was a great mom, full of the fruits of the spirit, and loved to laugh. She loved her dog, Patches.
Jacqueline was married twice with 2 daughters, Geraldine Bullwinkel and Jennifer Masten. She was a twin to Geraldine Elizabeth Boynton. Jacqueline and her sister moved to Maysville in 2010 to be closer to her daughter. She enjoyed gemology with her sister. She had 2 brothers who preceded her in death.
