J R Williams

J R Williams was born on April 5, 1958, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Paul and Vivian (Vaughn) Williams and passed away on September 30, 2024, in Oklahoma City at the age of 66 years.

J R married Rosa Turner on June 30, 1979. J R worked at Mid America Technology Center as a self-titled Custodian/Maintenance Engineer and Security. He enjoyed mowing his yard and helping others. He was an avid OU football fan (Boomer Sooner!!) and he enjoyed watching the games. J R was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. J R was a member of Assembly of God. J R was saved, and he loved Jesus. J R will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Survived by: wife, Rosa Williams; sons: Bryan Williams and Kelly of Blanchard, Oklahoma and Chris Williams and Alisha of Chickasha, Oklahoma; sister, Vickie Richardson and David of Noble, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Abrianna Williams, Declan Williams, and Kaiden Williams.

Preceded by: parents, Paul and Vivian Williams; brothers: Myke Williams and Danny Williams.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, October 4, 2024, at Winans Funeral Home Chapel in Maysville, Oklahoma. Burial at Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay, Oklahoma under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home in Maysville, Oklahoma. Words of comfort may be sent to the family on this website.
