Iman Ray Gower

Iman Ray Gower of Oklahoma City was born on September 10, 1938 in Maysville, Oklahoma to David Harvey Gower and Ima Katherine (Degraffenried) Gower. He passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 in Oklahoma City at the age of 82 years.

Iman grew up in Maysville where he graduated from Maysville High School in 1956. He married Letha Bell Hyatt in 1966 and they moved to Oklahoma City in the late 60's. He worked as a driver for the Oklahoma City and Moore Sanitation Departments. He enjoyed being a mechanic, working on cars, and watching movies. Iman loved his family and will be greatly missed by them.

His survivors include his wife of 54 years, Letha Bell Gower of Oklahoma City.
Sons, George Farmer and wife Kelly of Oklahoma City and Harvey Gower of Oklahoma City.
Brother, David Harvey Gower of Maysville.
Grandchildren: Stacie Pendergraft, Kaylee Gower, Chelsea Gower, Jeremy Gower, and 2 great granddaughters, Aubree Pendergraft and Braylin Pendergraft.
And other relatives and friends.
