Floyd Jerry Morris

Floyd Jerry Morris was born on April 19, 1943, in Marlow, Oklahoma to Aud and Cassie (Walker) Morris and passed away on November 25, 2024, in Lindsay, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years.

Floyd married Neva Evans on May 13,1964. Floyd worked as a pumper for an oil company prior to his retirement. Floyd enjoyed watching westerns, hunting, and fishing. He enjoyed good food and drinking coffee with his buddies. He also liked to entertain with a good story. Above all Floyd loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Floyd is survived by: his wife of 60 years, Neva Morris; son, Kenneth Morris of Lindsay, Oklahoma; sister, Shirley Compton; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Floyd is preceded in death by: parents, Aud and Cassie Morris; son, Robert Morris; daughter Pamela Gregory; brothers: Jack Morris and Truman Morris; sisters: Essie Ramming, Ruby Shelton, Lois Morris, Bertha Alexander, and Dortha Rouse.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 2, 2024, at Erin Springs Baptist Church. Burial at Purdy Cemetery under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home in Maysville, Oklahoma. Words of comfort may be sent to the family on this website.
