Edward Warren Blair

Edward Warren Blair of Lindsay Oklahoma was born on February 2, 1958 in Eye Suffolk, England to Hubert Edward Blair and Audrey (Skilton) Blair. He passed from this life on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at his home in Lindsay Oklahoma at the age of 64 years.

Ed moved to the Lindsay community about 10 years ago. He worked as a mechanic for United Ag & Turf in Pauls Valley for the last eight years. He enjoyed being around his work family at United Ag and Turf creating everlasting friendships. Ed loved his family and they were very important to him. He enjoyed being around people from all walks of life and was a very good storyteller, Ed lived all over the United States as well as Frankfurt Germany while his father served in the United States Air Force. Ed displayed a high level of expertise at an early age for anything mechanical and could rebuild just about anything given to him. Past time favorites was attending antique and hot rod car shows with his brother Rick. Anything with a motor on display he would happily attend. He also enjoyed fishing and traveling when time permitted. Rarely did Ed meet anyone that he couldn’t talk with and share friendship. Ed was a person who enjoyed life at his own making and enjoyed life his way!

His survivors include a son, Edward Blair of Wichita Falls, Texas; mother, Audrey Palmer of Tacoma, Washington; Brother, Michael Blair and wife Deborah of Pflugerville, Texas; sister, Belinda Lee Beutler and Jim Freeman of Liberty, Missouri and half-sister Jodi Sheldon of Tacoma, Washington; nieces and nephew: Jake Freeman and Holly Bacon of Liberty, Missouri, Teresa Beutler of Las Vegas, Nevada and friend Laura Montiel of Lindsay, Oklahoma.

Ed was preceded in death by his father, Hubert Edward Blair; mother Marilyn Elaine (DuVall) Blair; brothers, Ricky Carl Blair and Williams Anthony Blair; and niece, Melissa Hair.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, January 19, 2023 at the Winans Funeral Home Chapel, Maysville, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at www.winansfuneralhome.com
