Doris Kaye Anderson

Doris Kaye Anderson of Wynnewood passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 72 years. She was born on June 11, 1948 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Wesley and Eula Mae (Bullard) Woolsey.

While growing up, Kaye attended Elmore City Public Schools. During her working year she was employed as a cook at the Pauls Valley State School and then went into business for herself cleaning houses for others. She loved her family, especially the grandchildren, and all the family time they spent together. Kaye also enjoyed having quality time with her sisters. She was an avid reader and a member of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include her daughter, Pamela Kaye Jackson of Pauls Valley and son, Donald Paul Anderson and wife Candice of Blanchard.
Sisters: Joyce VanBuskirk of Wynnewood, Jeanette Payne of Antioch, Carol Flanders of Wynnewood, and Pat Wright and husband Jim of Antioch.
She also had 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and numerous other relatives.

Kaye was preceded in death by her parents; a son Randy Dean Anderson; brother Don Woolsey; and sister Joann Wallace.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, March 22, 2021 at Winans Funeral Home Chapel, Maysville with Bro. Eddie Wollenberg officiating. Burial will be in the Katie Cemetery under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at www.winansfuneralhome.com
