David Mark Stringer of Grove, Oklahoma formerly of Maysville was born on July 15, 1962 in Clarksville, Tennessee to Don and Lois (Cole) Stringer and passed away in his home on October 16, 2018 at the age of 56 years.
David moved to Maysville in 1973 and graduated from Maysville High School in 1981. While in high school, he was very active in Agriculture, showing his duroc pigs at the stock shows. He worked as a welder in construction for Charles Garner, then later went to work in carpentry construction for stores such as Target. David lived in this area until he moved to run the Boy’s Ranch in Jay. He was a good influence on the boys and really made a big difference in their lives. He married Frances Fields on September 23, 2002. David loved his family and spending time with them, especially his seven grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading Louis L’Amour books, watching old westerns such as Gunsmoke, Longmire, Lonesome Dove, and Yellowstone. He was a cowboy through and through from his hat to his boots and spurs. David will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
His survivors include his wife, Frances of the home in Grove.

Daughters: Lacie Lester and husband Adam of Purcell; Kameo Denton and husband Stanley of Alabama; and a step-daughter, Stephany Hill of Florida.
Brothers: Glenn Stringer and wife Hope of Oklahoma City; Jeff Stringer and wife Holly of Wynnewood; and Chris and wife Nelda Jo of Overbrook.
A sister, Rita Kay Niebuhr and husband Ryan of Huntsville, Alabama.
And seven grandchildren.
