David Ray Reed

David Ray Reed of Lindsay was born on September 27, 1966 in Lubbock, Texas to Billy Ray Reed and Jean Eileen (Johnson) Reed. He passed from this life on Saturday, January 21, 2023 in Edmond, Oklahoma at the age of 56 years.

David was a lifetime resident of Lindsay. He graduated from Lindsay High School in 1984 He worked in the oilfield industry for many years and also did some security police work. David loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and other relatives very much. He never met a stranger and was a big joker. He enjoyed fishing and coaching softball. David will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his wife, Sheila Reed of the home; a son, Kadence Reed of Lindsay; daughters: Donna Reed of Wynnewood, Crystal Reed of Elmore city, Mariah Cordell and husband Colt of Lindsay, and Erin McKee and husband Charlie of Lindsay. Brother, Chris Reed and wife Dawn of Lindsay; and sister, Sandy Freeman of Texas.
Grandchildren: Alyssa Stubblefield, Landon Reed, Rider Lowe, Jazmine Henderson, Blaine McKee, Zak McKee, Mac McKee, Jimmy McKee, Kensley Cordell, and Allie Cordell.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Ray and Jean Eileen Reed; grandson, Jacob Stubblefield; brother, Wayne Reed and sister, Sonya Lacy.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Winans Funeral Home Chapel, Maysville with Bro. Richard Newton officiating. Arrangements are under direction of John W.
