Cynthia "Cindy" Lynn Cordell

Cynthia (Cindy) Lynn Cordell passed away May 25, 2021 at Norman Regional Hospital. She was born on Nov 8, 1962 to Reuben and Carolee Edgar of Lindsay, Oklahoma. She was a lifelong resident of Oklahoma.

Cindy enjoyed being with family and friends and loved to celebrate. She frequently expressed her opinions and was a dedicated friend for life to all who knew her. She loved puzzles, playing pranks, and her puppies. Cindy was always willing to help others and has selflessly when she was able. She was a recent breast cancer survivor.

Preceded in death by her parents, she is leaving behind her loving companion Jerry Cordell, her three beloved dogs (Tee Tee, Pee Wee, and Skittles), and her three brothers and their families--Reuben Edgar (Carole, Jessica, and Christopher) of San Antonio, TX, Ronald Edgar (Rachel and Jacob) of Elgin, OK, and George Edgar (Kate, Riley, and Quinn) of Valley Lee, MD.
Brothers and Sister-in Law... Chris Cordell (Lana, Cody & Meghan, Colt and Mariha, Tim & Christina Trail, Manny & Carolyn Colmenares and Courtney).
Mark Herndon (Penny, Nick, Kendra, Kenyon & Brittany and Kagon).
Melonie Herndon Alario (Jake & Taylor McGuire, Luke and Landry)
Greg Herndon (Becky, Alex and Zack)...as well as many nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests those wishing to honor her memory make a donation to your favorite charity in her name and have a drink in her memory.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, May 28, 2021 at the Erin Springs Cemetery with burial under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at www.winansfuneralhome.com
