Connie Florine Morris

Connie Florine Morris of Lindsay was born on January 27, 1956 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Raymond Howard Staggs and Helen Katherine (Vinson) Staggs. She passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 in Lindsay, Oklahoma at the age of 65 years.

Connie was a lifetime resident of Lindsay, graduating from there in 1974. She had worked as an office secretary during her working career. She married Larry Morris on February 14, 2004 and he preceded her in death. Connie loved her family, especially the grandchildren, and was so proud of them. She also loved her dog, Joey. Connie enjoyed everything Christmas and in the past few years she had developed a love for her flower garden and tending to it. She was a self-taught pianist who had served her church as the pianist since she was 17 years old. She was a devout member of the Banner Baptist Church where she served as treasurer. Connie loved her church family. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Those left behind to cherish her memories are son, Brandon Conner and wife Jessica and grandchildren, Briar Mason Conner, Laney Payton Conner, and Eli Grayson Conner all of Lindsay.
Brothers: Steven Staggs and wife Robin of Lindsay; and Stanley Don Staggs and wife Rhonda of Lindsay.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Larry Morris.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at the Banner Baptist Church, Lindsay with Rev. Mark Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Alex Cemetery under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at www.winansfuneralhome.com
