Clarence “Chester” Arthur Teurman was born August 27, 1942, to Claude and Ora (Hunt) Teurman in Berlin, Oklahoma and passed away at his home in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma on January 22, 2024, at the age of 81 years.
Chester lived in Oklahoma City before moving to Pauls Valley. He was a former car salesman at Winkler Motors before retiring. He married Karon on July 13, 2002, in Reno, Nevada. They enjoyed 21 years of marriage.
Chester enjoyed listening to live music shows, camping, and being outdoors. He liked to go driving, never knowing where he might end up. Chester enjoyed sharing coffee with his friends at McDonald’s while solving the world’s problems. Chester loved his family and loved spending time with them. His family and friends will miss him dearly.
Survived by: his wife, Karon Teurman of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; son, Gary Teurman of Beggs, Oklahoma; daughter: Rhona Freeman and Paul of Harrah, Oklahoma; step-sons: David Flanary, Kevin Flanary, and Mac Flanary; step-daughter, Tamma Jones; grandchildren: Shannon and Scott Crews and Sydney Freeman; great grandchildren: Bentley Crews and Kutter Crews.
Preceded by: his parents, Claude and Ora Teurman; brothers: Daniel Gates, Samuel Gates, and Billy Gates; sisters: Wyinema Campbell, Geraldine Richardson, Willidean Gates, Ruth Knight, Mary Stepps, and Carol Sue Woods.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 25, 2024, in the Winans Funeral Home Chapel in Maysville, Oklahoma with Bro. Toby Willoughby officiating. Burial at the Maysville Cemetery under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home in Maysville, Oklahoma. Words of comfort may be sent to the family on this website.
