Catherine M. Clayburn

Catherine Marie Clayburn of Lindsay was born on November 29, 1948 in Miami, Arizona to Russell and Betty Jo (Ceal) Jacks. She passed from this life on Thursday, August 29, 2019 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 70 years.

Catherine was a lifetime resident of Lindsay. She married Jerry Donald Clayburn on February 21, 1997 in Bowie, Texas. She was a homemaker who loved spending time with her family and enjoyed quilting, sewing, word puzzles, and paint by number on her tablet. Catherine liked being outdoors, fishing, camping, garage sales, shopping at Walmart, and Dollar General Stores. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lindsay. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and her constant companion, Lucky, her chihuahua.

Her survivors include her husband, Jerry of the home.
Daughter, Brenda Jo Williams and husband, Brad of Lindsay.
Sons: Billy Wayne Galloway and wife, Ginger of Marlow and Billy Gene Clayburn of Davis.
Sisters: Erma Sagley and husband Adron of Lindsay; Betty Lou Williams of Cox City; and Mary Bailey of Mangum.
Sister-in-law, Lena Jacks of Texas.
Grandchildren: Kolbie Williams, Charity Williams, Kyann Galloway, Landen Galloway, and Garrett Galloway.

Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Betty Jo Jacks; son, William Holland Galloway, Jr.; sisters, Cleo Burg and Beatrice Rogers; brothers, Russell Jacks, Joe Hardy, and Alfred Jacks.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at Green Hill Cemetery, Lindsay, OK with burial under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at www.winansfuneralhome.com
