Carol Jo Kelly

Carol Jo Kelly was born in Dibble, OK to Robert and Verna (Branch) Hall on June 14, 1940, and passed away in Lindsay, Oklahoma on July 27, 2023, at the age of 83.

Carol moved from Fort Worth, Texas to Lindsay, Oklahoma and in August of 1981, she married Clifford Kelly. Carol was quite the homemaker. She canned vegetables that Clifford grew in the garden. She was a great cook. (Which is why Clifford says he married her.) Carol loved quilting and sewing. She was a member of the Lindsay and Chickasha Quilt Guild. Carol enjoyed fishing and the time she spent on the lake, with her brother, Ike. Carol loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them whenever possible. Carol was a member of Erin Springs Baptist Church and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include husband, Clifford Kelly, daughters; LouAnn Lindell and husband, Chris; Kathy Zangari and husband, Matt; and Krystle Davis and husband, Eddie; and Sheila Simmons.

Grandchildren; Caleb Lindell, Caleb Zangari, Corey Zangari, Brianna Davis-Deaton, Cody Davis, Chase Davis, Tanner Simmons, Melissa Mathis, Colt Mathis, and Alyshia Mathis, as well as, numerous Great Grandchildren.

Carol was preceded in death by; her parents, Robert and Verna Hall; Brothers, Bill Hall, Bob Hall, and Ike Hall; Sisters, Sharon Hefner, Tillie Beene, Patty Goosetree and Pam Stevens and her precious little granddaughter, Rachel.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Monday, July 31, 2023, at the Erin Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Clay Hicks officiating. Burial will be at Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay, Oklahoma under direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home in Maysville, Oklahoma.
