Brenda Gail Smart

Brenda Gail Smart of Lindsay was born on August 26, 1943 in White, Georgia to Roy A. And Willie Bell (Holmes) Smith. She passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017 in Kingston, Georgia at the age of 74 years.Brenda married Thomas Alford Smart on August 27, 1960 in Los Angeles, California. They lived in White, Georgia before moving to Lindsay, Oklahoma in 2006. She worked as a bank teller at the Bartow County Bank. She loved her family and was a caregiver to them. Brenda enjoyed singing, playing the piano and guitar. Her survivors include her son, Thomas Blane Smart and wife Angela of Aragon, Georgia.A daughter, Tanja Bishop of White, Georgia.Brother, James A. Smith of White, GeorgiaSisters: Ann King of Kingston, Georgia and Kimmie Powell of Kingston, Georgia.Grandchildren: Justin Blane Smart, Aaron Bishop, and Sheryl Cox.Great grandchildren: Bradley, Hayden, and Zachary Cox.Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Willie Bell Smith; husband, Thomas Smart; grandson Greg Cox; and son-in-law Ed Bishop.Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, December 7, 2017 at the Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville.
