Brenda Kaye Nunn

Brenda Kaye Nunn was born on February 18, 1953, in Purcell, Oklahoma to Harold and Lenora (Robertson) Crawford. She passed away peacefully on March 15, 2025, in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 72 years.

Brenda was a graduate of Southeast High School in Oklahoma City. She was a loving wife and a dedicated Mom and Nana. Brenda married Robbie Nunn on June 26, 1970, and they celebrated 54 years together. The couple had three children: Robby Jr., Jody, and Zoey. Brenda was proud of her family, and she considered them her greatest accomplishment in life. Brenda enjoyed playing jokes on others, though sometimes embarrassing they were still so funny. Brenda worked as a cosmetologist, and she made many friends over the years. She found people interesting and was truly invested in other people. Brenda loved her friends dearly and she was a dear friend to many.

Brenda will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

Brenda is survived by: husband, Robbie Nunn; sons: Robby Nunn, Jr. and Tina of Norman, Oklahoma and Jody Nunn of Norman, Oklahoma; daughter, Zoey Nunn and Johnny Arinwine of Norman, Oklahoma; brothers: Ronnie Crawford of Lindsay, Oklahoma and Danny Crawford of Dibble, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Avree Nunn, Sydnee Nunn, Khia Arinwine, Krimson Nunn, and Jamari Arinwine; great granddaughter, Alora Rose Guzman; and countless friends and other family members.

Brenda is preceded in death by: parents, Harold and Lenora Crawford; brother, Bobby Crawford; sister, Betty Brawley; and grandson, William "Cole" Garland.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Winans Funeral Home Chapel in Maysville, Oklahoma. Services for cremation are under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home in Maysville, Oklahoma. Words of comfort may be sent to the family on this website.
