Bobby "Bob" Pharaoh

Bobby “Bob” Pharaoh of Maysville was born on August 24, 1929 in Henryetta, OK to Orban W. and Doris Marie (Carpenter) Pharaoh. He passed from this life on Friday, October 23, 2020 in his home at the age of 91 years.

Bob was a lifetime resident of the Maysville area. He graduated from Maysville High School in 1949 and in 1953 he graduated from Oklahoma A & M College, now known as Oklahoma State University. He loved flying during his college years. Bob married Johnna F. “Snooky” Balentine on April 29, 1949 in Gainesville, Texas. He was a hard working farmer and dairy farmer who enjoyed his work for many years until his retirement. He loved his family and spending time with them. Bob liked to teach the boys all he knew about his farming and dairy operation and he even taught the grandchildren how to drive. Bob enjoyed eating ice cream and Baby Ruth candy bars, and drinking Dr. Pepper. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Maysville and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 71 years, Johnna F. “Snooky” Pharaoh of the home.
Daughters: Charlotte Mettry and husband Mark of Chickasha; and Michele Murray and husband Carl of Maysville.
Brother, Dick Pharaoh and wife Helen of Maysville.
Sisters: Judy Sample and husband Jim of Corinth, TX; and Barbara Burditt and Glenn of Cushing, OK.
Grandchildren: Matthew Mettry and wife Maranda; Megan Mettry and husband Shawn; Amber Owen and husband Jon; Severin Murray and wife Haly; Kelsie McMahan and husband Erik, and 8 great grandchildren.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Orban and Doris Marie Pharaoh; infant son; brother, C.C. Pharaoh; and sisters, Sharon Rogers and Patsy Pharaoh Warren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, October 29, 2020 at the Winans Funeral Home Chapel, Maysville, OK with Bro. Brent Higgins officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Pauls Valley, OK under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at www.winansfuneralhome.com
