Billy "Lynn" Weatherford

Billy “Lynn” Weatherford of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma was born on December 30, 1948 in Aspermont, Texas to J. C. and Evelyn (Anderson) Weatherford and passed from this life on Sunday, February 7, 2021 in Oklahoma City at the age of 72 years.

Lynn had lived in the Garvin County area most of his life. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He married Penny Costner on September 25, 1970 and they lived in Paoli before moving to Pauls Valley 20 years ago. Lynn worked as a welder for Halliburton, CMI, and some self-employment. His family was very important to him and he loved them very much. He enjoyed being outdoors where he could fish and hunt. Lynn loved watching John Wayne movies and listening to music by Don Williams. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

His survivors include his wife of 50 years, Penny of the home; sons: Johnny Weatherford and Billy Joe Weatherford, both of Pauls Valley; and 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and several other relatives.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at the Maysville Cemetery. Burial will be under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at www.winansfuneralhome.com
